Stars singers practice for their second concert.
Stars is Otsego's youth choir group and they are ready to perform their second concert of the year. It is sure to tug at the heartstrings and have us clapping to beat in this great show!

Otsego students begin performing on stage in Kindergarten. But by the time they get to 4th grade, they have an opportunity to spread their singing wings in a group called Stars. This group is made up of 4th and 5th graders from all three elementary schools. They get together to practice each Wednesday afternoon and put on two concerts a year. Their first concert is typically holiday or winter themed; the second is less of a musical and focuses on songs.

This year, these 65 students will be singing about freedom, inspiration and peace in a powerful show called "I Have a Dream". The kids have put in a lot of hard work and many of them have solo singing or speaking parts. Mrs. Garton and Mrs. Hardaker direct the students.

Come check out this great concert featuring our young singers February 21st, 7:00 p.m. at the OHS Auditorium. It's a free concert; donations are always welcome.
